Eaton Rapids 250th Anniversary Independence Day Celebration

Join us as we celebrate 250 years of American Independence — right here in the heart of the Island City! The City of Eaton Rapids is proud to host four days of community pride, tradition, and summertime fun. Wednesday, July 1 Kick things off with the Eaton Rapids Cruise-In and Live Music at GAR Island Park in the evening. Classic cars, great tunes, and a beautiful evening along the Grand River. Thursday, July 2 – Eat Local! Support our amazing local restaurants and businesses by dining out in Eaton Rapids. It’s a great night to enjoy the flavors of our community and show some hometown pride! Friday, July 3 Bring the creativity downtown for Chalk Fest from 5-7PM and enjoy more live music as the celebration continues. It’s a perfect evening for families, friends, and festive fun. Saturday, July 4 – Independence Day! The big day is packed with tradition and excitement: • Parade at 11:00 AM • Kids Zone from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM • Live Music & Beer Tent starting at 5:00 PM • Fireworks at dark at Howe Memorial Park Whether you’re lining the parade route, enjoying music in the park, or watching fireworks light up the night sky, there’s something for everyone.
