Recovery Poetry Reading By the River
Description
This isn't just an event. This is a sanctuary. A place where your voice is welcome, your story is honored, and your presence is enough. There is no stage, no microphones just our voices. This recovery poetry reading is open to every man and woman in recovery whether you have one day, one week, one year, or a lifetime.
Recovery doesn't measure your worth by time. It measures it by courage. And if you're here, if you're trying, if you're breathing through the hard days and celebrating the good ones you belong!
All ages are welcome; all pathways are respected. All stories are safe here. This is a judgment free zone a space where no one is above you, no one beneath you, and everyone is walking their own road with dignity. Whether you want to read something you wrote, share a piece that speaks to your soul, or simply sit in the grass and listen your presence makes a difference. Your support lifts someone else up! Your energy adds to the healing in the air.
Because poetry isn't just words on a page. It's truth, it's release, its testimony, and it's the sound of a heart that survived. And when we gather together, when we speak our truths out loud or hold space for someone else's we create a ripple effect that reaches far beyond that moment. We remind each other that recovery is not a lonely road. It's a community journey. It's a shared victory. And it's a collective rising.
So, save the date. Bring your voice, your heart, your story, your family, and your friends or just bring yourself exactly as you are.
Don't forget your blanket or chair which ever one you prefer. <3
