Introducing Nelson Gallery’s sixteenth exhibition: Relatives You Didn’t Know You Had by Jane Rosemont On display May 1 – June 27, 2026 Collage, unlike artist Jane Rosemont’s work in photography and filmmaking, is immediate, spontaneous, and tactile. Her process begins with nothing but the urge to create, without concern for the outcome. Colors, textures, and images within reach begin to guide her. Disparate elements find one another. In this embrace of uncertainty, her work feels most alive. As the fragments start to cohere, they often — almost inevitably — become a human face or form. Is it a relative you never knew you had? Is it you? Is it me? In the end, Rosemont hopes each viewer discovers their own meaning in these pieces, shaped by personal experience and their place within humankind. This exhibition will be on display at Nelson Gallery through June 27, 2026. An opening reception will be held on May 7th. Gallery Hours Monday - Friday 11am - 7pm Saturday 10am - 5pm
