Event: An Evening of Smooth Jazz (22nd year; annual event on the last Friday in July) Presented By: BMRW Promotions, Lansing, MI Date: Friday July 31, 2026 Location: Waverly High School Auditorium, 610 Snow Road, Lansing MI. The auditorium wrapped up a major $1.25 million renovation in April 2025. Architecture of the space ensures that patrons have an amazing acoustical experience and sight lines. 2026 Featured Artists: • Jazz Guitarist Adam Hawley is a solo artist, producer, songwriter, and educator. He has oficially been named Billboard's 2025 Artist of the Year, a major recognition for his exceptional chart performance and airplay, making him the most played artist in the genre for the year. • 496 West is a local jazz collective. They will feature saxophonists Rafael Leafar and Daryl Beebe along with a few surprises. The band released three new singles a few weeks ago and they are on track for an album release in early 2026.
