33rd Annual Car Capitol Auto Show

The R.E. Olds Transportation Museum has welcomed thousands of spectators to the Car Capital Auto Show, where we offer a unique venue to explore both classic vehicles that embody Lansing's Automotive heritage as well as modified vehicles that express the region's continued enthusiasm for developing the automotive culture in Michigan. This time, we’re making the 33rd Annual Car Capital Auto Show on July 18, 2026, more special than ever. We’re expecting over 1,500 to attend, and we’re so excited to have a special feature section of this year's show highlighting "Lansing's Auto Revolution." In the spirit of celebrating our nation's 250th Anniversary, we want to showcase how Michigan's independent spirit led to a revolution in transportation in America. Pre-1940 models of Durant, Oldsmobile, and REO Motor Car Company will demonstrate the revolutionary ideas in engineering, design, and construction that helped drive automotive innovations into the modern day!
